Re: Harry Potter movies
Firstly, I'm still on the verge of a murderous rampage about the Half-Blood Prince being moved back almost a freaking year! Arg!!
Enough about that. I watched the Prisoner of Azkaban last night and the time travel thing of the movie[and the book of course, though the book is a little less complicated] never ceases to amaze me. Got a few questions for anyone who truly understands the physics of time travel because that is some CONFUSING stuff.
READ THIS-->In basics...since time is running on a continuum, when Harry and Hermione go back in time and do what has already happened that they must perform and then come back to the hospital, they're still in the past because time never stopped. The time that they went back in never STOPPED. So the rest of the movies[and series] are always about 3 hours behind. It's a strange thought, but it's true...<--READ THIS

Oh my, I can't begin to explain how devastated I was when WB announced that they were pushing the HBP release date back to July 17, 2009. Now I have to wait for a whole year?! Wha-wha-aoiuwhrahwrh
Ok that time turner bit just confused me even more...

Re: Harry Potter movies
Anyone else kinda annoyed by the fact that they only moved it for money purposes? Hollywood...*sigh*. I'm not trying to put Twilight above but i really like the fact that they're not so worried about getting more money and just wanted to get the movie to us sooner in more places; least that's what they said about bumping the movie up...
Cause I've been waiting for a miracle, and i'm not leaving...

Re: Harry Potter movies
I am! There are plenty of Harry Potter fans out there that I'm sure they would have seen the movie no matter what season it was released in. I also heard it was because they didn't want to ruin Daniel Radcliffe's image because of his broadway show. To be honest I really don't think that the fans would care. They just want to watch the movie.mlola619 wrote:Anyone else kinda annoyed by the fact that they only moved it for money purposes? Hollywood...*sigh*. Confuses us all. My brother and I also made a new revelation that it was future Dumbledore that told Harry and Hermione to go back into the past. CRAZY stuff. Too complicated. Gives people headaches.luv_edward_cullen wrote:Ok that time turner bit just confused me even more...
And the moving the HBP movie, RIDICULOUS! The things people do for money these days! It's absolutely absurd. It's GREAT that Twilight's been moved up, but honestly, I'm just too ticked off about Harry Potter to really feel much happiness.

I'm annoyed that the moved the release date. I wouldn't mind if they had a good reason, like if they felt it could be better with more time to edit it, but for money? I just hope it's worth the wait!

Re: Harry Potter movies
Moving the release date is just stupid!
Didn't they say the film was ready?
then why are they making us wait 8 extra months?!!
All they care about is money
