Ooooh me too! I'm glad I'm not alone! I only like this and a really old song of hers, Simple, from the How To Deal Soundtrack.debussygirl wrote:This is sort of embarrassing.
Thinking of You by Katy Perry.
That is the only song of hers I like, mostly because it is so sad and it actually does have substance.
Her Diamonds by Rob Thomas
I Miss You - Blink 182
Round Here - Counting Crows

I remember crying to The Ghost Of You by My Chemical Romance.
The music video is really sad.
I mostly cried when they showed Mikey (member of the band) "dying". They could have become actors if the band thing wouldn't have worked!

Re: What songs make you cry?
Before Shakira released generic songs like "She Wolf" and "Hips Don't Lie", she was an AMAZING songwriter. Many of her songs on her "Donde Estan Los Ladrones?" album make me teary-eyed. I also love the album she had prior to that one, "Pies Descalzos". If any of you speak Spanish, or have someone that can translate for you, I reccomend hearing her earlier albums. The poetry in her lyrics will surely make you teary-eyed. She's was like a romantic, Spanish version of Alanis Morissette.
I love anything sung by Jeff Buckley. "Hallelujah" is of course his best song.
Phantom of the Opera moves me to tears. The Phantom's reprise of "All I Ask of You" makes my eyes glaze
LES MISERABLES and WICKED. I LOOOVE musicals. but these three always get me choked up. "On My Own", "I Dreamed A Dream", "Fantine's Death" from Les Mis. "For Good", "I'm Not That Girl", and "Defying Gravity" from Wicked.
I'd have to think of more, but that's what I've got off the top of my head.

One that always succeeds in making me cry is Breathe No More by Evanescence. The Lyrics are just so sad.
