Hey there!

Having another little bit of a downer today, wondering what I can do to get some work ... At least I have quite a few author opportunities coming up and I might sell a few books at them. With any luck, it might just give me the money I need to buy some more from Rochelle, which will help her and me.

Sarah - yeah, I was bummed too. You played Yahtzee? That's one of the few games I enjoy playing.

Quiet night here, just after work housework etc :) Tonight I opted to scrapbook instead of Pinteresting or reading, those are usually what I opt to do to relax post-work!

Lynne-Gosh, that is so frustrating..what can I do to help, anything? I've been playing Yahtzee on Facebook with a friend for a while so when I saw the board game at my parents', I thought it'd be fun to play.

Hey there!

We're getting ready to go away to the Gold Coast this weekend with my in-laws - all four of them, including those visiting! Unfortunately, the weather's not looking so great, but we should still have a good time. So I probably won't be on here for the next few days. See you when I get back!

Sarah - yes, it's frustrating, but I don't know if you can do anything unless you know any authors who need an editor (whether they know it or not). If so, get them to contact me.

Hi everyone.

I've been feeling a bit tired recently. I've been still trying to get over my cold, but right now I'm feeling pretty good.

I have work and an eye doctor's appointment tomorrow, and I also get paid. Good news is that I'll be doing this with a friend and there's a few things that I'd like to do during that time.

But other than that, I don't have a ton of stuff to do, aside from get ready for tomorrow and the weekend.

I'll be back later :)

Hello my beloved friends!

Just got back from Athens and important things happened in the meanwhile, I don’t know where to start! Ok, I’ll start with Stephenie! Oh. My. God. I know Forks will be packed and it will be so difficult for someone to really talk to Steph, but… I wish I could go! I even bought me a lottery ticket *keeping her fingers crossed – you never know*

What else? Oh, yeah, on the 20th of September we have elections. AGAIN! This time there is no doubt we are going to end up in the gutter…

In Athens I visited a book store and as I always do I went to find Twilight. There were no Twilight books. I was so disappointed. How are new readers supposed to get to know the books if they can’t find them in the first place? I saw the Divergent series box set, but there was also another book: Four. Is this fourth book a happier ending of the series after the sad ending of the third book we discussed a bit here??? I also came upon the Mortal Instruments Series and saw how huge these books are! I read them on my kindle and I hadn’t realized they were 500 pages each!

Sarah, I love documentaries but I’ve never heard of Blackfish. I will try to find it… How did the yard sale go? And the million dollar question: Are you going to Forks?

Lynne, when I was there I kept away from Tim Tams because of obvious reasons… But I had a lot of Monte Carlos (and a LOT of Cherry Ripes  ). I don’t want even to imagine how this cheese cake tastes…
I can’t understand why there is a problem to edit a book in American-English. Is there anything else different apart from some idioms and the dictation of certain words???
Have fun on your Gold Coast holiday!

Hey all,

It's been a nice weekend so far, even though we had a big wind storm that caused us to lose power for a good chunk of yesterday. It was nice, forcing ourselves to unplug and enjoy the quiet. It's looking like our streak of beautiful weather is finally over with!

Michelle-the weather was too crazy to have our yard sale, so we're thinking maybe next weekend. I've considered going to Forks for the weekend but it's a long drive to make alone since I doubt my husband would want to come when it's packed with Twilighters :) Plus I know it'll be super busy. When I looked it up last year, the weirdest part to me is that everyone dresses up as their favorite characters, including some professional actors that refer to themselves as the Olympic Coven. I just don't get that aspect of the fandom! It is really cool Stephenie is coming out though!!

Lynne-saw all your pictures on FB, looks like you had a great time!

Hey there, everyone!

We had a fantastic time away this weekend. It was hard to come back to reality. After all the dire weather forecasts, it only rained a little on Saturday evening. The rest of the weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun together. My in-laws will be coming back today. It was a shame we couldn't stay there again last night but Little Man has school today.

Michelle - the book Four in the Divergent series is just a few short chapters from Four's point of view (he's the male protagonist in the series). I think those chapters are all set from or prior to Divergent, the first book, so it doesn't change the ending of the book three. I wish I could go to Forks for Stephenie's book signing!

Sarah - glad you've been having a good weekend. Hopefully the weather won't turn too bad.

Hey all,

Today was a busy day off but pretty fun. I met a friend at the mall and watched her kiddos play at the indoor play toy while she and I socialized, then met Jason for lunch.

Michelle-Forgot to add my part about the Four novella. It's really really well written, if only Book 3 had been as well written. I love seeing more about Tris from Four's perspective.

Lynne-so glad the weather was good for you, looked fun. I saw you've been really busy on FB, is it helping your business at all?
