How do ranks work? Can I get a special rank?

Yes - some people have their own title/rank.

How often do ranks change? I've been at 'jump starting Bella's truck' since post 100 and I'd noticed previously my ranks were changing every 25 posts for a while.

The pace of change slows as you go along. After 100 posts, the next landmark is 200 posts. You can find a complete (ish) list of ranks in the Ranks thread in this forum. But only look if you don't mind having the surprise spoilt!
