He felt her lips on his so he kissed back. Never waist a good kiss, it was a rule somewhere along the line. When she took of her shirt he left a small gasp pass through his lips. He moved his hand to trace the scares with his finger tips when she whispered a number against his mouth.

"I have you beat love," he sat up then laid down next to her. He traced her stomach with his finger. "I have around 1,600 on my body for years and years." He kissed her stomach. "But that doesn't matter."

"Whatever you say," she told him. And... *fade to black*

Rose took Sabin's hand and gently pulled him along to the small balcony outside her room. She leaned her elbows against the steel railing.

"So," she began with a sidelong glance, "where does one get sixteen hundred scars in all sorts of places?" She was quiet for a moment.

"You've seen where mine come from. Wars in Mexico, life as a mercenary; all that happy stuff. But you are still an enigma to me."

Ana walked over to Santi, resting her head on his shoulder.
She smiled, she hadn't felt so relieved in such a long time.
She slipped her hand into his, these little points of contact making her feel so wonderful.

Joha smiled when Athena came over to hug her.

"So Athena, I never got a chance to ask....where's my room?" I asked, laughing.

I noticed that Elena, Rose and Sabin were gone. I decided not to peek and just focused on what Athena was saying.

Athenodora grinned at Joha and giggled a little when Joha said, laughing, "So Athena, I never got a chance to ask....where's my room?"

"Well... " Athenodora thought for a second. Her vampire ability to think fast and her knowledge of the castle made this a super easy question to answer. "There's many rooms open in the floor below my room. We could go look at them and you could choose one, instead of having it assigned."

Joha giggled with Athena and grinned.

"Yes indeed, choosing would be fun. Hmmm, maybe something with a nice view?" Joha smiled.

"After you, my dear," Joha said, putting her hand forward.

Athenodora rolled her eyes but laughed at Joha's comment.

They made their way to the floor where there were empty rooms.

"There's a couple that have good views of the city and of outside the city walls," Athenodora said.

I nodded as I walked around looking out the windows.

"So what do you do around here?" I asked, looking at a view of the city walls and the sun setting outside it.

It was beautiful. I looked around to see Athena leaning in the doorway.
