I've missed a lot in the last day and a half. Work was crazy on Friday, so I wasn't able to jump on at all and I've been de-junking and packing all day. Lots o' fun! ;)

First, Nima, Una, and GNE, thanks for the advice on the books. I appreciate your information. Thank you for the advice on the other books to try too. :) All of the books you mentioned are on my to read list, so I'll definitely have a go. ;)

QOTD: What's your favorite Dr. Seuss book? My favorite Dr. Seuss book is Fox in Socks. It's just so much fun because it's a book full on tongue twisters. To enjoy it to is fullest, you have to read it aloud. You can actually read it here, but the book is better because you get to see all of the Seuss characters and imagery.

Oh, my. I got my copies of BDB today (all but book 5, so I will have to hunt down that book at another store) but I see what you mean but being very Gutterish.

Loving what I'm reading so far, I'm only on Chapter 9 of Dark Lover and really into it. Still trying to get my own version of Wrath but so far I keep seeing Duane Johnson (the Rock in the Scorpion King) as him.

OMG - Now you make me want to order all the books...

okay.... okay... I am heading over to Amazon!!!

Okay I got book #5 from paperbackswap.com and I bet I can save some money checking out half price books that is 2 miles from my house. I hate mass market paprbacks, so I will try and get the larger paperback books if they exist. Do they?
I need some smut in my life... it's been a lot of prechoolsers and grown up lists of things to do. Twilight has been a good healthy ballance... ummm... okay healthy was a bad choice of words. Twilight has made me healthier though. In general I don't like apples and don't buy them. When I do eat them, I usually eat only the skin. But I don't like them so, I don't buy them. I don't even have a good reason not to like them. I don't like apple pie eaither, not applejuice and not applesauce. I find apple care kinda revolting, but a regular apple does not taste bad.

That beinbg said... I have purchased and eaten more apples since being introduced to twilight. Unhealthy obsession = healthy choices at the supermarket = ballance.

I can't belive a glass of wine is effecting me but I wrote a paragraph about apples. Not even smutty apples, guttery apples.

QOTD! Am I alsoud to ask one. Who do you find to be the gutteriest of the land of the famous people?

Loving what I've read so far. I think someone said that Wrath's bood was the weakest in the series but I'm liking what what I've read so far.

Everyone else has read the whole series, so Spooky, I think you and I are still trying to catch up. FYI, the books are cheaper online but not by much and if you can go to a bookstore/library to get them first, I would suggest it. I spent $60 bucks on the books today.

I was lucky to get them because they only had one copy of each book. How can you be a bookstore chain and have one copy of a book?

So, far it's been a good read. Yeah the Lex and it's book selection advice. After reading the BDB series, I'm wondering if I should start the New Breed or Psy/Cha series?

Like BDB, Julian's book is the "weakest" of the series so far. Julian's book is nothing to sneeze at and neither is Wrath's, but once you get to know these characters and the story becomes more complex, they and the world they inhabit is just more fun.
You know? this always happens to me. I read the first book of a series, I get hooked and then I realized that the rest are always better. Makes me mad though, because then I feel like I need to demand a re-write for the first two books to do them some justice. Ugh.
I started number two and I am still seeing some of the weaknesses that I found in #1, but I am trying to overlook and continue with the story. I am really liking the DH world

I read the Midnight Breed series right after BDB and at the beginning I couldn't stop but keep seeing the similarities in between the series and that is very distracting. I would recommend to read another series in between. For the record. I love the characters in BDB a LOT, but I thought Midnight breed was just better written.
I think you need to wait and see how do you feel after BDB. I would probably go with the Psy/Changeling next.

Hey everyone !!!!

It's been a while. I'm still in Lebanon and having a great time. I was supposed to be back on the 19th but I delayed my trip until Dec 8. So unfortunately I won't make it on time for the Twilight premiere. On the bright side I'm having a blast with my mom, my family and friends :D I miss everyone back home, but it feels good not working and waking up early everyday. I miss being on here too. I just stopped by to say hi and how much I miss our gutter talks  and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Make sure you guys eat enough for me too. Take care you guys. And I hope to be back on soon.Take care everybody!!!

Much love,

Hope <3

Hi Hope! (Even though you won't be back soon to read this) Glad you're having a good time!

Of course!!

QOTD: Who do you find to be the gutteriest of the land of the famous people?
Britany is guttery in a bad way. I think Christina Aguiera is guttery in a good way. Aguilera started out the bad way, especially contrasted against Britany's school girl image. Now that seems to have flip flopped when Aguilera ...oh, didn't have a complete mental breakdown, stayed married and still has custody of her own kids. T-pa's contribution to guttery goodness was just too obvious in my opinion, but Vampman will appreciate it. He's offering up Jenna Jamison. FS and MG offered up Lindsey Lohan after deciding it was mocking the dead to suggest Anna Nicole Smith. They also suggested Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Hmmm...seems women are easy to pick on. Ok, gentlemen, what guys do you consider "gutterey"?

I know you guys will laugh as hard as I did when for fun I did a google search and discovered that guttery.com is the blog of an LDS paramedic.

I know there are some Gilmore Girl fans here and if you'll recall, one of Lorelai and Rory's odd quirks was to share their weird dreams. Our house got hit with a tired stick this morning an I had a doosey. I've already bored T-pa with it. But let me say it included FS getting a large and wordy tatoo over most of his forearm, borrowing Q-tips from Clint Eastwood, and driving in the snow and running over a fox that had frozen solid in the middle of the road. T-pa actually made some valid observations about my freaking out ove FS leaving home. Not really sure what to do with the rest of it...

Nima - LOVE Gilmore Girls - miss it so!! Your dream... Hmmmm... I'd have to say you have a lot on your mind! It's strange, I used to have the most vivid, wonderful dreams (some scary, too), but lately - nothing I can remember. It's been a long time. And it's funny, with all of the reading I've been doing lately, I would have thought that would jump start the dreaming. Oh well. Maybe no dreams because my life is a dream (*cough*, *cough*)

Guttery men... hmm.. I would have said K-Fed, but he's actually cleaning up (more than Brittney). My vote would be for either Kid Rock (too many urls, see photo below), Bret Michaels, Kid Rock or the best of all TOMMY. See, finding guys isn't too tough! And, hey, I think we forgot to add PAM I mean hello - Tommy Lee and Kid Rock... The girl lives in the gutter!

BDB update - Spooky and Skylar - it's so much fun! Definitely try the used bookstore - I got 4 of them there! I'm almost halfway done with #4 (Butch) - still liking Z the best!

Nena- thanks for the series advice... What about trying out Dark Hunter after BDB? And it's funny what you said about getting a rewrite of the first book or two in a series - I was thinking that exact thing this morning... I was wondering what Wrath would have been like if she'd written further down the road.

ETA: Oops, there is a 5 url limit (now I get why Nima does that!), so you'll have to enjoy Kid Rock and Pam together!

QOTD: Thanks Nima! Yeah I was thinking bad guttery... Britany is nasty. Wow - Christina totally redemes herself with this beautiful picture!Aguilera

LOL Jenna Jamison... I watched an hour doccumentary on her. What an interesting lifestyle choice. I'm glad it's worked out for her.

Lindsay Lohan...I could have done without that picture of her in my mind. Too bad her lifestyle choice is working poorly for her.

Wow - it is hard to think of a guttery guy. I can only thinkg of guttery goodness not guttery nastiness for a guy. Even guys like Johnny Depp he's guttery goodness... just dirty. Like Rob. Ah! He's hot, but then I thought of Colin Farrell. He's kinda hot but also kinda nasty. In searching for pictures it became clear that he is mostly hot. BUT why is it okay that all these men are dirty (physically). Dirty women would be seen as trahy or other words I probably can't type, but us women allow our men to be dirty, stilll love them and find them sexy. I'm a little disturbed by this realization.

OMG - K-Fed!!!! totally guttery and dirty in a BAD way... along with Kid Rock ewww...

LOL "Tommy and Pam... so guttery together"

note: I find it funny that I always had a Gutter reading window open and a Gutter reply window open. As I read and add to my reply, I find that a lot of people have the same thoughts as me! I love it. "So guttery together"
