Hello, I am new here except that I have been coming here since about 2008 when my son introduced me to Twilght. I joined the forum but had technical issues, so never really posted. Recently I discovered that 50 Shades of Gray was written by a fanfic writer, influenced by Twilight, so I was motivated to follow through on posting.
So, I am the mother of 4 kids, a now 16 year old son and 13 year old triplets. My son introduced me to Twight when he was in middle school. His sisters read the books when they were in fifth grade (with permission). The leader of the triplets insisted on reading the rest of the books and we struggled with that. A friend convinced me that when you are fighting with a kid to not read a book, it's time to let that kid read that book, so she read Breaking Dawn when I thought she was too young.
I always loved reading but Harry Potter turned me around. I have read every book over and over in English, Spanish, and British. The Twilight series I have read over and over and in English and Spanish. Midnight Sun, though, I believe is what really sold me on the series. When I found Midnight Sun, I tried to print it page by page because I just wanted to "hold" that book. I await anxiously, its release!
I live in the Northeast of the USA and am mostly a stay at home mom although I work as a substitute teacher. I look forward to so extended discussions.
