^^^ AH ditto! Muse and Evanescence, definitely!

ANd I agree with Angela Cullen about Who Knew, the lyrics really fits ;)

I'd like Mercy by One Republic for the reunion moment in Volterra ... and speaking of Muse, I'd love Time is Running Out for the scene from the airport to Volterra, Ah Alice driving the Porsche is something to be seen!

What about this song wen he leaves her, a lot of people on atwilightlife.com are really excited about it and want to strt a petition to get it into the movie, I know its not the same as the last soundtrack but I think it would be great let me know thanks guys

3 Doors Down Here By Me
I hope you’re doing fine out there without me
‘Cause I’m not doing so good without you
The things I thought you’d never know about me
Were the things I guess you always understood

So how could I have been so blind for all these years?
Guess I only see the truth through all this fear,
And living without you…

And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.

I can’t take another day without you
‘Cause baby, I could never make it on my own
I’ve been waiting so long, just to hold you
And to be back in your arms where I belong

Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
But everything I’ve ever known gets swept away
Inside of your love…

And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.

As the days grow long I see
That time is standing still for me
When you’re not here

Sorry I can’t always find the words to say
Everything I’ve ever known gets swept away
Inside of your love

And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.

And everything I have in this world
And all that I’ll ever be
It could all fall down around me.
Just as long as I have you,
Right here by me.

I would love to hear more ethereal music because this book and movie will be so haunting and dark. Jacob needs his theme song -something hard-core, heavy metal especially when he phases and goes kind of dark on Bella.

Yeah, this is vague, so I will have to go through my music at home and see what I can come up with in the band category. :D
yh i loved the black ghosts and blue foundation -paramore anr't my fav band but i don't mind decode or i caught myself

i really hope they use some of the same bands from twilight honeslty (apart from LOTR) i think this movie has the best sound track of all time, plus you can even just listen to the songs, you don't have to be watching the movie to enjuy them!

i have a song, it's called ceremony by new orderit's like 20 years old but i think it fits perfectly here are the lyrics:

This is why events unnerve me,
They find it all, a different story,
Notice whom for wheels are turning,
Turn again and turn towards this time,
All she ask's the strength to hold me,
Then again the same old story,
World will travel, oh so quickly,
Travel first and lean towards this time.

Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown,
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Watching her, these things she said,
The times she cried,
Too frail to wake this time.

Oh I'll break them down, no mercy shown
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Avenues all lined with trees,
Picture me and then you start watching,
Watching forever, forever,
Watching love grow, forever,
Letting me know, forever.

another song is she's lost control by joy devision (new order before they lost their lead singer) the lyrics are fairly repetative but listen to i ton youtueb to get the full feel

i know i have a fairly weird taste in music i was just brough up on stuff my parents were in to in the 70's and 80's during the british modsVrockers thing (my parents were rockers-how bad does that sound LOL)

I really like the Who Knew by Pink. It's so super fitting! I also really like Breakdown by Mariah Carey Feat. Bone Thugs N Harmony.. Yes, it's more R & B than rock but just tell me it doesn't just sound like Bella post break-up......

Breakdown
You called yesterday
To basically say
That you care for me boy
But that you're just not in love
Immediately I pretended
To be feeling similarly
It led you to believe it was okay
To just walk away from the one thing
That's unyielding and sacred to me

Well, I guess I'm trying to be
Nonchalant about it
And I'm going to extremes to prove
I'm fine without you
But in reality, I'm slowly losing my mind
Underneath a disguise of a smile
Gradually, I'm dying inside
Friends ask me how I feel
And I lie convincingly
'Cause I don't want to reveal
The fact that I'm suffering
So I wear my disguise
Till I go home at night
And turn down all the lights
And then I break down and cry

So what do you do
When somebody you're so devoted to
Suddenly just stops loving you
And it seems they haven't got a clue
Of the pain that rejection is putting you through
Do you cling to your pride
And sing "I Will Survive"
Do you lash out and say
"How dare you leave this way"?
Do you hold on in vain as they just slip away

Well I guess I'm trying to be
Nonchalant about it
And I'm going to extremes to prove
I'm fine without you
But in reality, I'm slowly losing my mind
Underneath the disguise of a smile
Gradually, I'm dying inside
Friends ask me how I feel
And I lie convincingly
Cause I don't want to reveal
The fact that I'm suffering
So I wear my disguise
Till I go home at night
And turn down all the lights
And then I break down and cry

Break break down, steady breakin' me on down
Break break down, steady breakin' me on down
Break break down, steady breakin' me on down
Break break down, steady breakin' me on down

(rap)
It'll break ya down
Only if you let it
Everday, crazy situation's rockin' my mind
Tryin' to break me down
But I won't let it (forget it)

I been feelin' like you breakin' me down
Kickin' me round, stressin' me out
I think I better go and get out
And let me relieve some stress
Don't ever wanna feel no pain, pain
Hopin' for the sun but it looks like rain, rain, rain
Lord, I just will not maintain

Oh yeah, often feel the pressures y'all
But never the less crazy won't fall
It's over, it's endin' here

Well I guess I'm trying to be
Nonchalant about it
And I'm going to extremes to prove
I'm fine without you
But in reality, I'm slowly losing my mind
Underneath the disguise of a smile
Gradually, I'm dying inside
Friends ask me how I feel
And I lie convincingly
Cause I don't want to reveal
The fact that I'm suffering
So I wear my disguise
Till I go home at night
And turn down all the lights
And then I break down and cry

I would love... and I have no idea what has been posted previously:

Playground love: Air = for the scebe when bella is at home after being (Kinda) attacked by the Cullens.

Come here boy - Imogen Heap (for the same scene) Seeeexy I think.
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley (shortly before Edward tries to reveal his true nature in Voltuura)

Hope these suggestions are all ok... lovely to meet you all!

Oh My Gosh!!
This song..
My Immortal -Evanescence
is like it was made for the movie.
And the title suits perfectly.
I can't beleive how it fits so well.
It would be awesome for the parts where the months pass by.
Let me know what you think ok.
Oh and..
Falling Away With You -Muse..

And..
Good Enough -Evanescence
Because i think it would be good for the bit where Bella is realising that Jacob is her personal sunshine.

I think PLaygroud Love would also sound good at the cliff diving scene, right about when Bella is drowning.

Hallelujah is also great. Sadly, both these songs have been used in soundtracks before and became somewhat popular. I'm not sure they wanna use that again, but Alex Patsavas - the music supervisor for Twilight - has used songs like these before on her soundtracks, so I'm thinking it will be something very close to it.

I would love to see Mazzy Star on the soundtrack. She has amazing songs like "Into Dust" and "Fade into You". I wouldn't mind some Death Cab for Cutie either.
"Does my being half-naked bother you?"
Yes, please take the other half off. xoxo

EVERYTHING YOU WANT BY VERTICAL HORIZON

that's jacob to bella...

"I'm everything you want, I'm everything you need.
I'm everything inside of you that you wish you could be.
I say all the right things, at exactly the right time.
But i mean nothing to you, and i don't know why... "

I had originally thought about "Best I Ever Had" by Vertical Horizon, but "Everything You Want" works too. Good news, I finally reduced my 72 song playlist for New Moon to 24 songs. It was tough and took me almost 2 weeks to fully whittle it down. The winners are:

Sanctuary - Annette Ducharme
Heaven - Bryan Adams
Wherever You Go - The Calling
It's Not Over - Daughtry
Bring Me To Life - Evanessence
My Immortal - Evanessence
The Reason - Hoobestank
In The End - Linkin Park
Breakdown - Mariah Carey feat. Bone Thugs N Harmony
The Day - Mytown
Savin' Me - Nickelback
Who Knew - Pink
I'd Die Without You - PM Dawn
Elsewhere - Sarah McLaughlin
Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon
Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
Behind These Hazel Eyes - Kelly Clarkson
InComplete - Backstreet Boys
No Air - Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown
Over and Over Again - Tim McGraw feat. Nelly
Always - Bon Jovi
Crazy For That Girl - Evan and Jaron
Crash And Burn - Savage Garden
If Only - Hanson

Yeah, so that's pretty much it. It sucks a bit since I eliminated 4 or 5 of MY all-time favorite songs but if they really don't work then they really don't work.... Opinions?
