1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
It wasn't hormons!! It was Bella's 1st time, and with the love of her life of course she wanted to make it longer before the unknown. Edward would give her whatever she wants :D that's the truth.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
Stephs surprised me! But I loved the child from the moment I knew.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
Kaure rocks! I mean, she gave them the clue, a place to look for answer when they needed. Kaure was brave enough, but I have absolutely no idea of what did she told Edward so... :?

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
No, it didn't surprised me because he's a pushy man and I knew he wouldn't give up.

ps. my 1st post ;)

1) I think Bella found out just how wonderful being a human CAN be. b) Oh, yeah!!

2)I had other suspicions. I really did wonder if she wasn't pregnant.

3)That this woman knew of the legends and was very upset that this happened. b) I would have done what she did. I mean, what else could she say?

4)I knew he could/would find a way to control the excesses. This was his wife and they were on their honeymoon. He desired her as much as she did him.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?

I thought this offer was awesome. His reaction was awesome. The whole thing on the island was awesome. And I can't even say much more than that, because this is the part of the book where I can't exactly see or think straight. Edward gives Bella everything she wants, at great personal sacrifice sometimes. I figured he would give her this, too. Edward's self-control gets better with time - there is no way he would hurt her.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?

To be honest, I had this part spoiled for me because I read a character list before BD, and there was one character listed that just made me smack myself in the face. I hate spoilers. But I am confident that my brain would have gone there anyway - I was contemplating this for a while. And the clues stood out pretty well. SM made sure to mention the fatigue and appetite a lot - laying it on pretty thick. Plus she always wanted eggs - sounds like a craving to me. Combine that with the fact that they just had sex, and the way the chicken tasted gross to her...and it had me going, "the baby doesn't like eating chicken!"

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?

I thought that was one gutsy lady, and I was dying to hear what she was actually saying to him, or what Edward was asking her. This is another place where I really hope SM finishes the series from Edward's perspective. I need to get into his head! I think if I were Kaure, I would have been too afraid to confront him, if I believed what she believed - unLESS I had a personal reason for involvement. Maybe she does.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?

Like I said before, I figured he could do it - the same way he got used to kissing her and touching her. Edward is pretty infallible in my book. ;)

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
When had Edward been known to give in easily? Now way, jose.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
I think all of us subconciously thought: preggers. The amount of activity sure added to the effect, though.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
SM conveys Kaure as a wackjob that believes in old wive's tales. If I had been raised in Kaure's position, I would probably pull Edward aside... or not... I probably would not want to clean up a bunch of feathers on an island in the first place. Awful job- poor girl.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
There's an oxymoron 'controlled sex'. I'm sure he would learn from his mistakes, and it would be less severe, but, there would still be a certain amount of injury involved.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
Yup! They more they did it and practised, they easier it would get, and Bella wouldn't get hurt as often. Edward probably knew this. And he would want to keep Bella happy. Plus keeping Bella human would please him even more.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
I knew something was up, but I thought to myself that she couldn't be pregnant because it was too soon. It kept me puzzled.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
I didn't know why this Kaure was so worried. She annoyed me tbh.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
I knew it wwould happen eventually.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
Well, I thought it was a little much. I didn't think that he would give in, because it's a silly request. I mean, while they were vampires they'd have more than enough time to make love... and she should have known he would give in to her at the end and not have to wait. I don't know what I thought... I thought it was desperate.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
I had some other suspicions, but the logical part of my brain was arguing that it was impossible that soon. But after a while, I was like, yeah, she's going to be pregnant.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
I'm not sure. I was a little surprised that she would argue with him, but I didn't think too much about it, actually.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
I knew he would be able to. I thought he should just trust himself, and Bella would trust him, and everything would be okay. I think Edward worries too much.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?

To say I wasn't surprised would be an understatement. It was slightly amusing that she would use being human to torment Edward when they both knew what good sex felt like, at that point in time.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?

I thought that they did play a small part. He kept her super busy, when she was awake that it was bound to take a toll on her physically.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?

She knew to be afraid of Edward, and knew to fear for Bella's saftey, but she had no way of knowing that Bella was there by her own will and knew of Edward's bloodsucking habits. If I were in the position to confront Edward, I would be wary of talking to him. Fear can do strange things to a persons' mind that I'd probably fear my saftey over anyone elses'.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?

I thought she would have wound up with some bite marks before he managed to control it.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
I found her offer quite funny to be frank! But i could understand where she was coming from, now she'd had it it seems plausible that she didn't think she'd have it so good for ages if she became a vampire due to being bloodthirsty and such. I didn't think Edward would give in though

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
I didn't see the pregnancy coming at all! I felt like saying Edward give the poor girl a break! aha

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
I thought that Kaure was really brave! i'd never have the guts to do what she did considering the things she was taught! I knew that Kaure was right to argue but strangely it annoyed me when she did, i wanted her to leave!

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
I didn't think that he would again till she was changed so i was surprised that they tried again. I never saw why Edward wanted to keep her human for longer. If her becoming a vampire was inevitable then why bother waiting. It would be an easier life for him and she could catch up on human experiences later!

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
I think it was a little desperate. And he would definitley give in.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that the odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
I thought she was just whiped out.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
I thought she was knuts. But I would have done the same thing.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
It didn't surprise me. Edward always gives Bella what she wants eventually.

1. What did you think of Bella’s offer to stay human longer if Edward would only make love to her? Did you think that he would give in?
I thought that it was pretty reasonable. I mean he does want her to stay human longer, and making love with her would make her happy because it is something should would have done as a human anyways lol. I thought that he would since he wants her human.

2. Did you assume, like Bella, that he odd eating and sleeping habits were due to the amount of activity she and Edward was participating in, or did you have other suspicions?
Okay, No i did not assume like Bella that everything going on with her was from the amount of activity they were participating in. I totally thought she was pregnant...she was hungry for eggs all the time...i mean come on eggs are good, but not THAT good lol.

3. What did you think about Kaure’s fear for Bella’s safety and the argument she had with Edward? If you had been in Kaure’s position, would you have tried harder or been too afraid to confront Edward?
I probably would have tried harder. She has a different way of viewing vampires and stuff, i mean its only natural to think that way she does.

4. Did it surprise you that Edward could eventually make love to Bella without hurting her, or was that something that you assumed he would eventually be able to do with enough control and resistance?
I thought he would eventually be able to control how he was with bella.
