I kneeled next to the chair Celia was sitting in, resting my chin on the arm of the chair. She looked like she was about to explode. From what, I didn't know. Boredom? Confusion? Loneliness? She knew I existed now; she knew i was here, but it seemed like she didn't let it register. I considered going to get a pen and paper, telling her everything. But wouldn't it just cause her more confusion? More pain?

It looked as if the new girl could hold her own. Of course, it helped that no one could see her. I watched... or tried to watch the fight... it was hard since I only saw one side of it. It was strange, at the moment, if I tried focusing on the new girl to learn more about her past, it looked as if nothing was there...

In preparation in case anyone needed help, I had my small knife in hand. Small as it was, it was still an extension of my hand. I knew I could make a cut more painful if I placed venom on the blade, it would hurt just like a bite.

The "air" was knocked out of me as I lay half on top of Afton. If I would've been a human, I knew that would've killed me, or at least, truly disabled me.

I got to my knees, wincing a bit, and I looked down at my left hand. The cracks there were slowly healing. I looked sideways at Rick, my hair in my face, glaring.

I growled and got to my feet.

(Man, it doesn't help that Derek isn't as active as before. I'd feel bad piloting Rick so maybe we should wait for him but then...when are Elena and Matilda going to get a chance to fight? )

Afton was just getting started.
He grabbed Rick's ankle and slammed him to the floor.
Afton grabbed it again and this time he threw it into the air.
Athenodora flew towards Rick and kicked him down.
Slamming Rick to the cracked concrete.
"Waaayyy the go my queen!"

(I wanted to wait for Derek too... but since we're autopiloting...
I'm going to write this as if it happened before Afton made his move, because invisible Beatrix was already holding Rick down and about to rip his arm off!)

The loud crashing sound Athenodora made as she was thrown against the other male vampire (Afton) gave Beatrix extra energy to make her final move. She pushed Rick's torso forward with all her strength while pulling his arm in the opposite direction. The cracking sound accompanied by he vampire's cry of pain was like music to her ears.

She threw aside the arm and stood far away from him to stay undiscoverable and prepare another attack.
Beatrix watched as the ally male vampire took Rick by the ankle, stopping his attemps to find her, and slammed him against the floor with Athenodora's help.
"Waaay to go my queen," he said. Beatrix laughed, but of course, no one could hear her.
