Oh my gosh we have died as a thread. I am very sincerely sorry that I haven't been on very much lately guys please forgive me. But I shall try to get on more!

What color was Carlisle's eyes before the transformation?
I love this question. I agree a pale ice blue would do him justice. But I was also thinking like a dark cobalt or maybe a light cerulean type of thing.

If he could get back one thing from mortality/being a human what would it be?
The ability to eat food instead. We all know his self-control is amazing but it would be good to finish it off for once and for all. You never know.

If he could get back one thing from mortality/being a human what would it be? Maybe normal skin. Becuase of their skin when it's sunny they basically hide away from the world. If he didn't have to do that he could spend more time at the hospital and helping people.

I think he'd have light blue eyes. With blonde hair and fair skin, blue eyes seem appropriate

If he could get back one thing from mortality/being a human what would it be?
The ability to remain in one place forever, meaning not having to move to keep up the story of how old he is. Carlisle seems the type to get attached to his patients and I think he might want to stay with them and then see future generations.

What color was Carlisle's eyes before the transformation?

I guess I have to be the voice of disent. While strikingly blue eyes would fit, I just haven't ever gotten over the idea that his eyes were a more hazel, changing color depending on what was around him or what he wore. I don't know why I think that, I just always have.

If he could get back one thing from mortality/being a human what would it be?

I think maybe his ability to dream. Carlisle seems one to put a lot of stock in the unconscious and what it tells us. I think he might like to dream again.

I think once Carlisle realized he could be a vamp without being a monster, he really enjoyed being a vampire so he could always help people and never tire of it.

I believe he accepted what he became (a vampire) and probably thought he would benefit more and be happier if he lived the best life he could as a vampire. He would understand there is no going back, so he would move on, live a life as a good, kind, & caring vampire, and wouldn't be envious of humans.

No. I would think that after almost four centuries as an immortal and then finally finding his soul mate in Esme and a family, he was as content as he could be.
