"When It Rains" by Paramore - I thought this song would be perfect for New Moon, especially since Paramore already did the Twilight soundtrack when I first heard this song.

"Undisclosed Desires" by Muse - I love this song in general, but the first time I heard it, it reminded me of something Emmett would sing to Rosalie.

I was listening to Snow Patrol this morning and one song reminded me so much of Edward in New Moon that I almost started crying (not quite, though...I was driving, and driving and crying don't go well together :D ). It's called "If There's a Rocket Tie Me To It". The lyrics I bolded are what caught my attention, but I think the whole thing is very Edward-away-from-Bella:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqtQlyFnIig&ob=av2e

Two weeks later like a surplus reprieve
I found a hair, the length of yours on my sleeve
I wound it round and round my finger so tight
It turned to purple and a pulse formed inside

And I knew the the beat 'cause it matched your own beat
I still remember it from our chest to chest and feet to feet
The easy silence then was a sweet relief to this hush
Of ovens, aeroplanes and of distant car horns

A fire, a fire
You can only take what you can carry
A pulse, your pulse
It's the only thing I can remember
I break, you don't
I was always set to self-destruct though

The fire, the fire
It cracks and barks like primal music

I said I knew the beat 'cause it matched your own beat
It's become my engine, my own source of heat

The sea between us only amplifies the sound waves
Every hum and echo and crash paints my cave

A fire, a fire
You can only take what you can carry
A pulse, your pulse
It's the only thing I can remember
I break, you don't
I was always set to self-destruct though
The fire, the fire
It cracks and barks like primal music
A fire, a fire
You can only take what you can carry
A pulse, your pulse
It's the only thing I can remember
I break, you don't
I was always set to self-destruct though
The fire, the fire
It cracks and barks like primal music

why didn't I discover this threat earlier? There are so many songs, that remind me of twilight. Of course now that I can share them I forgot half of them, which means I might post some more here the nex couple of days.
First of all:

If you want me by the swell season:
http://youtu.be/F8b8La92Z1s

Lyrics:
Are you really here
or am I dreaming
I can't tell dreams from truth
for it's been so long
since I have seen you
I can hardly remember
your face anymore
When I get really lonely
and the distance causes our silence
I think of you smiling
with pride in your eyes
a lover that sighs ....

That reminds me of Bella in New Moon, having episodes of feeling and hearing Edward so close to her. She is afraid of remembering him but also doesn't want to forget and there is this emptyness all around her

Everytime I hear the band Stereomudd, I think of Eclipse. It's mostly because I read and listen to music at the same time, and that was what I happened to be listening to when I was reading it.

"I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz :)! It's a beautiful song! To be honest it reminds me of Robsten (Robert & Kristen) so I'm not sure if it counts :? lol!

"A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri reminds me of Edward and Breaking Dawn for obvious reasons since it is on the soundtrack and it sounds like it's Edward's point of view :)!

"Winter Sun" by Dishwalla - every time I hear this song I think of Edward rescuing Bella from James at the end of Twilight, and then watching at the hospital while she's being worked on.

I could hear you fall,
I could feel your body through the floor,
And all I see is the red of your blood for the first time
As i hold you there,
As i rush your pale life through the door,
I feel the heat rise up, from your shape in the cold light,

Will the winter sun keep us warm, in these cold times?
Will the winter sunlight keep you warm, untorn, untorn and alive?

See them hold you down,
Never felt them push me back to the wall,
Still i hear you cry terrified for the first time, first time

Will the winter sun keep us warm, in these cold times?
Will the winter sunlight keep you warm, untorn, untorn and alive? alive?

I would give my life to keep you safe, for a lifetime,
I would give my life to keep you safe, for a lifetime,
I would give my life to keep you safe, for a lifetime,

Will the winter sunlight keep you warm, untorn, untorn and alive?
Will the winter sunlight keep you warm, will it keep you warm, untorn, untorn and alive, untorn and alive?

Forgive if I repeat any songs here (since I haven't read all the posts in the thread). Here they are:

-4 in the Morning by Gwen Stefani (reminds me of Edward & Bella)
-You Found Me by The Fray (reminds me of Alice and Jasper)
-Whisper by Evanescence (reminds me of the Volturi, when Alice & Bella went to Volterra and all of New Moon in general)
-The Last Night by Skillet (reminds me of Edward & Bella)
-Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin (reminds me of Jane from the Volturi xD)
-All Fall Down by One Republic (reminds me of Jane & Alec's human life)

That's all I can remember for now.
