The Parent Trap was just playing on the tv.. still funny after all these years.. who would have thought that cute little Lindsay Lohan would turn into such a disaster when she grew up

Actually the '61 version is the one I saw first ever since I was a kid like 8 yrs old and on (over and over again like I always do). And I saw the new one to see how different it was from the original.
Its basicly the same movie just a few generation updates.....like the date the twins arrange for their parents is different cause it was supposed to be their first date and its not the same characters, so of course they made some changes there.
The pranks they pull on their "new" stepmom on the camping trip are good but they changed those in the new one too.
There a few more noticeable differences that I caught but I won't say anymore cause I tend to get carried away sometimes...
A little bit of trivia, in the original the actress who plays the woman he is going to marry comes back to play the mother-in-law in the new movie.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
It was funny. Not too serious, which was the type of movie I was in the mood for.
