Hey all,

A nice Saturday :) Driving by houses with Jason to check out the neighborhoods and I even got him to go to the mall with me. Granted, we were price comparing new phone plans, but still ;)

Lynne-oh yay, baking days! Everything you made sounds so good!

Hey there!

Church went well yesterday. We're trying to seek the right direction for the future. It's tricky being a house church and having some kids who are now of youth age. We're trying to work out what we can do for them.

Off to work today. Not looking forward to it. I'm tired and just want to sleep. Little Man had a bad night last night.

Sarah - They all tasted great. :D

Hey all,

Yesterday we had my mother in law over, first time I've seen her since Christmas. Jason made a roast and I made a peach cobbler, both of which she seemed to enjoy. She's not the easiest person to get along with but it went alright. I guess she's looking to buy a new house too so we talked a lot about that.

Jason and I get to go tour some houses tomorrow, which is so surreal and very exciting :)

Lynne-How'd work go? I saw your FB status, hope you're feeling better. Anything I can do?

Hey there!

Not much going on here. Had a bit of a downer yesterday. Still not quite over it. At least we got some decent rain yesterday.

Sarah - Work was okay. I'm now starting at 9.30 am instead of 9.00 am. Even though that means 3 hours less a fortnight, it gives me more time to get Little Man to school, so I'm not too concerned. I am feeling a bit better. I don't think there's any way you can help ... unless you can find about 25 more people to review The Heir on Amazon US. That might help me feel a bit better! Glad your time with your MIL went okay.

Hey all,

Today my boss was finally back to help for a day, which was so nice. We're short handed by two people and will be for at least another week and a half so it was a relief to have help.

Tonight Jason and I toured a few potential homes and ended up putting an offer on one tonight. Now it's just praying and hoping the sellers accept our offer. We won't hear for a few days though.

Lynne-Doing any better? What led to you being so sad? I saw Rob's Dior commercial, all I can say is wow!!

Hey there!

Feeling a little better today, although yesterday was worse than Tuesday. Nearly had a panic attack in the middle of a supermarket and that's something that's never happened before. I don't know what's wrong with me or what's caused this. Financially we're looking good at the moment and my job seems secure presently. I've had my latest manuscript accepted for publication, but it's not out until the second half of the year so I have plenty of time to prepare. Why am I not coping?

Sarah - Cool! A new home. Hopefully you'll get it. Glad to hear your boss is back to help.

Hey all,

Not much going on, just working, housework, and waiting to hear about our potential house. This weekend looks to be a quiet one, just dinner with Jason's Dad for his birthday on Saturday.

Lynne-I'm so sorry :/ panic attacks aren't fun at all!

Hey there!

Work went well this week. I feel like I'm feeling my way in my new tasks and I seem to have got a good handle on them quickly, which is good. Little Man has cricket this morning and I'm trying to convince him to let me come along but he doesn't want me there, which kind of hurts, actually.

Sarah - Have a good time celebrating with Jason's dad. :)

Hey all,

Today I did some work in Jason's Dad's office for tax season and I'll continue to work every Saturday until April 18th :) It's a nice change of pace from cleaning and I can work as much or as little as I want. We also had dinner with him and Jason's family, which went fairly smooth. It's always a gamble, as Jason's parents are divorced, but they try to be civil and tolerate each other's company.

We found out at the end of dinner that we didn't get the house we wanted, which is a total bummer. I really loved all the features and the location of it but we just got outbid :/

Lynne-dinner went okay, thanks :) I'm sorry LM didn't want you to go to cricket :/ kids are funny sometimes.

Hey there!

I ended up going to cricket, in spite of Little Man's protestations. A good thing I did, too, because my in-laws couldn't make it so there would have been no one else to watch if I hadn't been there.

Yesterday we went out to watch a friend of Little Man's who's just started racing go-karts. It was only a training day but it was fun to see him whizzing around the track. He's hoping to become a racing car driver one day. I'm glad Little Man prefers cricket, as it's a lot cheaper!

Sarah - It's good that Jason's parents try to be civil to one another. Divorce is hard on everyone, isn't it? On Saturday I found out that a couple who used to go to our old church are now divorced. It made me feel really sad.
