Well, this morning I'm starting my new job. I'm apprehensive, but not terrified. Hopefully it will all go well. We'll see.

Sarah - glad your house is nice and clean! :) I would have tried driving there, but the time I would need to go is usually a busy time of the day for me, so I couldn't do it at the right time.

Hi everyone.

Past couple of days has been pretty uneventful.

I go into work at noon tomorrow and I won't be back home until after 7:00 because I'll be doing something after work tomorrow. Hopefully Thursday I'll be going on an outing to somewhere interesting, because my last two outings have been cancelled.

At least I've found some good photos of the new modifications that Audi successfully ran at Fuji last weekend:

Even higher resolution versions can be found at Audi Media Center.

I'll be back later

Hi everyone.

I haven't been up to much today aside from being at work and attending a meeting afterwards. I only got home about an hour in a half ago.

I don't really know what I want to do tonight, aside from making some chicken taco salad that I didn't get around to making last night.

I already know that I probably won't get around to it tonight, but I'm thinking of working on some fan fic later this week. I'll just go ahead and integrate Lydia from Beetlejuice into my fan fic that I'm working on. I'm just out of it right now to think of how I'll do it exactly.

I'll be back later :)

Just a flyby from me! I'm on my phone because I got sucked in a book for most of the evening but didn't want the day to pass without popping in to say hello!

Lynne-hope your first day went well! New jobs are always scary :/

Hey there!

I'd like to say the new job went well. Unfortunately, it was a very stressful experience. It turns out that my new boss is obsessed with productivity. Every minute of your day needs to be logged, and you MUST do a certain number of hours on jobs that bring in money a day, or else. I can understand that she wants to bring business in, but it seems a bit extreme. Also, jobs MUST be done as quickly as possible. To hell with quality. The emphasis on production is extreme. I can't see myself lasting long in this place. Just the thought of going back today makes me feel nauseous.

Hey all,

Not much going on here, just work :) We're having dinner with my parents again tonight, as they made a lasagna and they can't eat it all so Jason offered to help ;) I don't care for it but it means I don't have to cook, so I'm of course going :)

Lynne-oh man, that sounds awful!! Did she give you any indication the job would be like that when you took it? I don't blame you.

Hey there!

Work was a little better yesterday, but still really stressful and I'm crying at the drop of a hat because I'm so stressed out. Even though I don't have to go back there until Monday, I'm already worried about it. I don't know what to do. I'm hoping that it will get better with time, although I can't see myself staying there for any longer than I have to. Hopefully Hubby's business will start to do so well I'll need to go and work for him to help him manage it. I'd say it will take at least a year before this happens, though.

Sarah - Hope the lasagna was good! No, she didn't tell me anything about the productivity schedule until she emailed me the contract for the job, and even then, I didn't know what it meant until I went in for my first day. It's all so hard at the moment. :(

Hi everyone.

I went to Ashland with a friend today to Grandpa's Cheese Barn. If you're going though Ashland and have some money to burn, you can easily do that there because of all the good stuff they have there. There's also a chocolate/confectionery place right next door owned by the same people, too.

And on Saturday, I'll be going to the bird sanctuary for their fall festival. Hopefully I can be like Lydia from Beetlejuice (both cartoons and film) with a camera, especially when I come across the barn owls:

So that's the plans I have going on right now.

I'll be back later :)

Morning all!

Yesterday was better because I didn't have to work. It's all I can think about, though. It's been a long time since I've been this stressed. At least it meant I was able to see Little Man get an award at his school. It's for a program called CARES, which is all about respect and caring for others at school. Since I will be working on Fridays from now on, I probably won't be able to see another one of these award ceremonies.

Today we're not doing anything particular, which is fine by me!

Hey all!

Had a date night with Jason, as he had a busy week at work and needed to go out. We haven't been out in ages so it was a nice treat. We're going to Portland in two weeks for a few days and I'm so ready!

Lynne-wish there was something I could do, so stressful :/ good for LM and his award though!
