Re: What are you reading?
How far are you in the book? When I was reading it, I found is very hard to connect with the first like 100 pages or so. But after that, it started to get really really interesting, and I became completely hooked. It's an amazing amazing book. The story is wonderful, but it has a really really slow start. I know, but it is necessary. You should give it a chance and continue reading, and when you finish the book you should say wheter you liked it or not, I had the same feeling in the beginning !dimber wrote:I'm finally reading THE HOST, and not liking it so far...

I was at the bookstore yesterday and almost bought the Host, but I bought the first book in the Vampire Academy series instead. It's really good so far. I'm about halfway through it.

Re: What are you reading?
I'm about to start the last book in the Percy Jackson series. Loving them! I enjoyed them so much, I decided to doa Greek mythology unit in my 5th grade class and we are reading The Lightning Thief as our class novel. The kids are loving it! We're gonna take a field trip to see the movie on the 12th

Re: What are you reading?
Its the Harvard Press parody of Twilight, and I've heard its hillarious. I'm searching for a copy to read, but sadly my library doesn't have it. *frowns*
Just finished And Another Thing... by Eoin Colfer. He's continuing Douglas Adams's Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, and it was pretty good. Very Adamseque humor, it all sounded like the originals, just.... lacking Adams singular touch. A good read, though, if you like the first 5 books.

^^^^I haven't read the previous books in the "Hitch Hikers Guide..." series but I love Eoin Colfer. So will I understand And Another Thing... if I read it?
