Re: Bella Swan Cullen #3

I wouldn't say that Bella had no sense of identity. Living under looser conditions as a child works either way, since it allows for a greater sense of development in a few cases. In fact, one of my theories is that Bella could embrace Edward's mythological world so easily because of her crazy, spont...

Re: Jacob Black #2

Don't get me wrong, though. I really like Jacob as a character, but Eclipse was a tad bit difficult sometimes due to his attitude with Bella. I normally have to skip over the kiss before the battlefield, because that scene represents something more than respectfully expressing feelings: it's taking ...

Re: New Moon--Favorite scenes in the movie

I really liked the first introduction of the Volturi. Aro ripping off that rogue immortal's head with a small smile was classic.

Re: Chapter 38: Power

As far as the lack of action is concerned, I agree with Stephenie's justification: Why the big build-up for a fight that didn't happen? I'm not the kind of person who writes a Hamlet ending. If the fight had happened, it would have ended with 90% of the combatants, Cullen and Volturi alike, destroye...

Re: Funniest Twilight Saga Moments

Speaking of Eclipse (which I haven't read for a few months)...

Could someone remind me of the "leg hitch" scene? What was it about in the story, exactly?

Re: Jacob Black #2

(this is an impulsive, off-the-cuff response . . . just so you're warned not to take me too seriously . . .) To be fair, Edward is a little stiff on and off through much of the series. All that angst. Though I am technically "Team Edward," his cold physical temperature would kind of turn ...

Re: Jacob Black #2

I have to say I will always be kinda split up on either being Team Edward or Team Jacob. But, in my opinion, everything about Edward radiates coldness. While everything about Jacob radiates warmth. Jacob is a warm person I think. He really cares for Bella and he wouldn't give up at all. I like that...

Re: Bella Swan Cullen #3

I see I need to clarify a lot ! I awknowledge the possiblity that my perception of Bella may not be shared by anyone else; I'm totally okay with that. I feel like Bella was the emotional caretaker of her mother, not close to her father, and unable to make good friends with her peers. She described ...

Re: Bella Swan Cullen #3

I don't necessarily agree with the first part, Esme. Bella *did* want to be around Jacob, but she also wanted him to acknowledge that her heart would always belong to Edward as far as love is concerned. It was never about her wanting to dismiss a friendship with Jacob. Are you implying that Bella on...

Re: Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen #12

I absolutely LOVED the Twilight movie. Maybe it's because I've been a fan of Catherine's style since Thirteen.
