Re: Jeb Casting Thread

Jeff Bridges is who I pictured in my mind while reading it.

Kris Kristofferson, maybe?

Tom Waits? (He did that bit in "Domino" in the desert that made me think of him...)

J.K. Simmons?

Re: Doc Casting Thread

edit - nevermind - I was thinking of Jeb, not Doc. Disregard!

Agreed on Guy Pearce for Doc.

Maybe as a joke - Peter Facinelli? (joking! - he plays enough doctors).

Michael Weatherly?

Re: Jamie Casting Thread

Jansen Panettiere? right age/look (I think)... (Hayden Panettiere's little brother - would be a casting coup to cast Hayden as Pet with Jansen playing the "brother" all along). Yay for indie actors! Edit to add: George MacKay from the upcoming "The Boys Are Back". http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1126657/...

Re: Wanda/Melanie Casting Thread

This may sound odd, but Rose Byrne? Or Saffron Burrows? More indie actresses than any of the aforementioned names. Eliza Dushku definitely would be awesome, but having seen her in just about everything she's been in, it's hard for me to be impartial. She could definitely pull off alternating tough a...

Re: Eclipse director David Slade

Has no one here yet posted anything about Hard Candy (directed by David Slade)? I haven't seen 30 Days Of Night yet, (though it's next on my Netflix queue), but I do have some comparison/commentary as far as Hard Candy is concerned: In Hard Candy, almost the entire movie is completely between these ...

Re: Setting the book to music

So, i'm not sure if I could set a whole book to music but definately some aspects. For example, I think Jacob in Eclipse could be described by the song Think Twice by Eve 6. It is just so PERFECT. Here are the lyrics: So I know it is not even in chronological order but it ALL applies to him. Of cor...

Re: Setting the book to music

For the record, I've talked with a few people for whom 1page/min is too fast, so it goes the other way, too. But yes: Twilight and New Moon lists are kind of fast-and-loose with the timing. Meaning: they are nowhere near as precise and might be frustrating for those who do read at that pace properly...
