Re: Gutter Gals & Guys -- Rainbow Popsicles. The Discussion.

QOTD: Do you take "mental health" days and how do you like to spend them? I don't think I'd survive without taking mental health days. I usually take on every couple of months from work. And, if I don't have anything pressing going on over the weekends, I try to turn Saturday or Sunday into a menta...

Re: Shelfari and Good Reads

Some shelfari users are more diligent than others. I know I update mine every time I add a book to my "need to read list", in fact, I now keep it on shelfari. I update every time I finish a book, I love updating and adding to my shelfari. When I get in a rut, I check out others pages and see what t...

What are your feelings about slippers? I have one pair of slipper that I like to wear to keep my feet warm. But, honestly, I'd just rather wear ankle socks. Slippers are too much like shoes; they feel too constricting. If I am doing little things around the house, I usually wear my Crocs because th...

Re: Gex X--the 30 something thread

Gingerbread Person 1 Gingerbread Person 2 Wow, it feels like forever since I've been on this thread, or the Lex period. Life is way too hectic right now. Anyway, a funny story about putting gingerbread men on Christmas trees.... When I was still living at home, my mom started to decorate her tree w...

Ha ha! Nena , I love your new avie. My friend used that as her avie on a work forum and I laughed every time I saw it. I'm so glad I get to relive that laughter each time I check the Lex. So, I just had to post some good news. My husband and I are under contract to buy a townhome. We were already pr...

My favorite Halloween movie is also The Nightmare Before Christmas! I love it. Tim Burton is a genius. It's also my favorite Christmas movie because I think normal Christmas movies are too cheesy.

Nena, is that Henry Cavill? I've never liked him, but that picture is AWESOME!

Re: The Third Table

"No book is worth reading at the age of 10 which is not equally (and often far more) worth reading at the age of 50." ~ CS Lewis Hmmm...that is very interesting. I can see where he's coming from. When I was about 10, I read Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. I loved the book as I've always been intere...

I loaned my books out once and they came back in perfect condition, but I had separation anxiety the entire time they were gone. So, I don't lend them out anymore. Well, and they're signed now, so I won't even let other people touch them.

Re: Gex X--the 30 something thread

I absolutely loved the trailer. I loved the part where Edward caught the apple in his cupped hands. It just made me squee! I also loved the kiss and all of their interactions. I'm so glad there was more dialogue this time. I can't wait for the movie now. It looks like it's going to be so good. There...
