Can anyone help?? I dont get why I have so much trouble changing avatars. I have had the one for a long time, just found another one and uploaded it to my Photo bucket account. It works fine on another site I visit, Tried to use it here using the Photobucket address they give you for it and it says it is invalid. So frustrating.. it was already in avatar size so its not too big. And like I said it loaded great on this other site, usually that site is hard. Any advise?

The avatar is 100 x 100? Did you move the file of the pic on Photobucket to a different album?
What exactly is the error message saying?

hey guys , i just need some help...
i'm new here, and i just did my very first upload of my avatar.
the problem is, it won't show up, even though i've already resized it to 100x100 pixels before i uploaded it to Photobucket...
and on User Control Panel, i still put 100x100 on the boxes...
so then i just re-uploaded it on my account here on Lex repeatedly.
still, nothing.

I suggest trying it without specifying the size. That has worked for me in the past.
If that does not work, let me know and I can take a look at it.

EDIT The link was actually incorrect,
http://i587.photobucket.com/albums/ss32 ... ds-100.jpg is the link to the avatar image, the link you were trying to use was for the page the avatar was on.

My banner doesn't work when I post I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It just shows up as half the website I have for it.

Not an expert with bannermaker, but I suspect you've got extra junk between the [img] brackets you don't need. Try putting just this URL between the brackets:

December is correct, the link between the [img]...[/img] tags is incorrect. In addition, the banner is too wide. It needs to be no more than 500px wide, yours is 728 px.
