Never cared much for Steph music tastes [ergh, I can only take so many boy bands] but SQUEE! MUSE SONG! AIYDUAYD@*#&%@*#%(@%#@(Q%!!
Okay. I'm good.
Map of the Problematique is an exellent song, I loved it the second the piano synth kicked in. But serisously. Futurismtic glam-rock, though with appropriate lyrics, doesn't really match up. I can see where she's coming from though. "I can't get it right...since I met you." *sighs dreamily* Ah...Matt Bellamy's lyrical genius...
On with my analsys. In my opinion, the song is a great choice aside from the prog-rock, post-apocalyptic feel of the music. I can think of a couple Muse songs that would have worked much better. But I think I should stop now =P

I'm kind of surprised "Endlessly" wasn't one of the Muse choices. The lyrics are perfect in their tragic conclusion.

I adore the Midnight Sun playlist, it goes so well with the book...well, with the book so far, and hearing some Three Days Grace made it even better

I love love love Blue October's "Ugly Side"! It's soooo Edward! I think it's my favorite Midnight Sun playlist song. The lyrics are perfect and I really love the flow of the music.

I think Steph has AMAZING taste in music. Muse is one of my most favorite bands in the world... all of her playlists that she chooses are perfectly suited for the scenes in each book. They're all modern bands that anyone can like.
I think my favorite playlist is Twilight. I LOVE the Travis song she picked for the first scene.
