This is a good point, and although it was implied that the Flowers were not as self-aware as humans are (aparently nothing in the universe is, go us![/sarcasm]) and there is no resistance group of rebels hiding out anywhere and all of the Flowers have been enslaved from birth for at least two generations by now, I just don't see how the Souls' expansionism is fair to anyone (including themselves) at all.
