1. Do you personally relate to Bella feeling queasy around blood?Yes, times a million. Although, for me, needles are worse than blood.

2. Were you afraid for Bella when Edward scooped her up? Did you think the fact that there was blood around might endanger her?No, somehow I knew he wouldn't hurt her.

3. Edward says that Bella doesn't seem like a junior in high school. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment? Both, I guess. I was very much like that at that age, so it doesn't seem unrealistic -- but then again, I do know that I was far from typical.

4. What did you think about Edward's demeanor this chapter? How is it different than in the previous chapters? He's getting more comfortable around Bella, and also resigned somehow. He wants to be around her, and he is giving in to that, but he is also holding back. After all, she doesn't know the truth about him -- but this can't continue for long without her finding out. Also, there is the whole "she's a human with fresh hot blood in her veins" issue to deal with. So yes, he still isn't fully comfortable.

Nah. Blood doesn't bother me.

Not at all. Then again, at this point, Edward's vampire status isn't yet known (at least it's not supposed to be).

That depends. Are we talking average juniors? Or are we talking juniors who are in advanced placement courses, and are likely far more mature than their peers?

It's a little weird how he's not only protective of her, but how he feels responsible for taking care of her. I wouldn't say it's necessary different from previous chapters, only that it's like the next step in a gradual evolution.

Ugh yes. Gross.
2. Were you afraid for Bella when Edward scooped her up? Did you think the fact that their was blood around might endanger her?
No Edward seemed helpful...mysterious but helpful.

3. Edward says that Bella doesn't seem like a junior in high school. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment?
Agree. Some people are more mature than others..and because Bella's putting her mothers happiness over her own which shows how much mature she is.

4. What did you think about Edward's demeanor this chapter? How is it different than in the previous chapters?
He seems helpful and more approachable than he has been in the past. He's intrigued by the fact that Bella hates blood.

1. Do you personally relate to Bella feeling queasy around blood?

I don't, at least not a pin prick or a scrap of the knee, however I can't be a nurse or doctor. Surgeries and needles are to much for me.

2. Were you afraid for Bella when Edward scooped her up? Did you think the fact that their was blood around might endanger her?

No. I never felt she was ever in danger with Edward.

3. Edward says that Bella doesn't seem like a junior in high school. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment?

She is mature for her age but thats because she took care of her parents more than they took care of her.

4. What did you think about Edward's demeanor this chapter? How is it different than in the previous chapters?

I think we se Edward being more caring. Were before he was nice one minute and then the next he didn't want her to be his friend. He doesn't think twice in this chapter of protecting her and making sure she is ok.

1. Do you personally relate to Bella feeling queasy around blood?
No, not at all. I'm not a squeamish person.

2. Were you afraid for Bella when Edward scooped her up? Did you think the fact that their was blood around might endanger her?
Oddly, no, I wasn't afraid. It didn't seem like he was about to take her and make her a snack, so I figured he had it under control. I thought that if he meant to eat her, he wouldn't be in such a laughable mood.

3. Edward says that Bella doesn't seem like a junior in high school. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment?
Completely agree. Renee's statement about her being more middle aged each year seemed understandable.

4. What did you think about Edward's demeanor this chapter? How is it different than in the previous chapters?
He seemed much more likable. He was still mysterious, but not so brooding; more witty and funny, and the banter between Edward and Bella as a result of his improved mood made me start rooting for them from there. I really started to like him for his wit in this chapter.

1. Do you personally relate to Bella feeling queasy around blood?
-A little..not much. Vomit freaks me out more.

2. Were you afraid for Bella when Edward scooped her up? Did you think the fact that their was blood around might endanger her?
-Not really..more embarrassed for her! And at that point, she doesn't know he's a vampire so I'd say no. It's probably a good thing she didn't prick her finger though.

3. Edward says that Bella doesn't seem like a junior in high school. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment?

Agreed. She had a unique relationship with Renee, always helping her out and taking care of her.

4. What did you think about Edward's demeanor this chapter? How is it different than in the previous chapters?

He seems nicer in this one..more friendly and like a care taker. He's definitely not trying to avoid her anymore!
